Salesforce and iMovo invite you to take part in the First Salesforce X iMovo Hackathon on the 29th October 2024.
This event offers a unique chance to a select number of Students and Maltese Businesses to be paired in teams and get exclusive expert training on the Salesforce platform to design and build a solution that can help the business community.
No coding skills are required. On the contrary we will focus on the Salesforce platform “no code” capabilities to emphasise the links between business and technology, and the accessibility for business user profiles.

Eligibility
You are eligible to register and participate in the The Salesforce X iMovo Hackathon if:
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- You are following a course in Business Studies and/or IT.
- You are a 2nd Year / 3rd Year / Masters’ Degree student at the University of Malta.
Prizes
Students taking part in the Hackathon will be split in teams. There will be prizes to be won, including:
- 1st Prize: $ 300 in Amazon vouchers per team*
- 2nd Prize: $ 200 in Amazon vouchers per team*
- 3rd Prize: $ 100 in Amazon vouchers per team*
Jury
The jury will include members from Salesforce, iMovo Ltd, the University of Malta and local businesses:
- Mr. Anthony Farrugia – Visiting Lecturer, Department of Business and Enterprise Management within the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy and Student Coordinator, Department of Education, IT.
- Mr. Stephen Agius – CEO, Identita and Visiting Lecturer, Department of Business and Enterprise Management within the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy.
- Dr. Godwin Caruana – Chief Operations & Technology Officer, iMovo Ltd. and Coordinator Business and IT at the Department of Business and Enterprise Management within the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy
- Mr. Loïc Mosse – Platform Lead, Salesforce.
- Mr. Damien Lee – Software Architect, Salesforce.

- By registering for the Salesforce X iMovo Hackathon, I accept that my personal data can be used for the purpose of organising and running the Hackathon, and shared with the other team members I will be paired with.
- I accept that my picture might be taken and shared with the Hackathon participants and partners.
- The organisers will do their best to match students and businesses based on your preferences, but cannot guarantee a perfect match.
- I am interested and I commit to be available for and take part in the Hackathon on the 29th October at the Urban Valley Resort & Spa.
- This is a FREE event, due to capacity limitations, successful registration will be confirmed by email.
- Kindly register using your University of Malta email address.
- Prizes listed above are per team, and limited to not more $150 per individual.
