Two iMovo employees, Hadrian Sammut and Darren Mercieca, recently attended Convergence EMEA 2013, held between the 4th and 6th November 2013, in Barcelona, Spain.
This year’s Convergence EMEA 2013 was marked by various important product announcements across the Microsoft Dynamics family of products, particularly Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013. The highlight of this year’s Convergence EMEA was undoubtedly the keynote presentation by Kirill Tatarinov, Executive Vice-president of Microsoft’s Business Solutions Group, who defined the company’s latest perspectives on the advancement of business solutions into the cloud.
Microsoft reinforced its Dynamics CRM 2013 charter of adhering to four fundamental principles: proactivity, productivity, ubiquity and flexibility. The newly-released Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 has been billed as making ‘business personal by delivering a reimagined user experience, new mobile capabilities including sales applications for Windows 8 tablets and iPads, and embedded social capabilities to keep users connected to the people and resources they need.’
The latest version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 now features a redesigned user interface ‘that is simple and intuitive, actionable intelligence at [user] fingertips, and a pervasive connection to the people and resources they need.’
Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 has been redesigned to address the need for socially connected, always-on, business organisations which are aware of the contemporary importance to deliver differentiated and compelling customer experiences; ones that exceed that provided by the competition. Microsoft has done away with out-dated screen pop-ups and multiple form flipping to provide a unified screen that provides all the information required.
The new approach was designed with productivity in mind by presenting key business data and related activities in a style that maps to the way that people actually work. The new user experience organises information in a clean, consistent and easy-to-access manner.
Convergence EMEA 2013 included what was labelled as the ‘Convergence Experience Centre’; an area where Microsoft Dynamics independent software vendors (ISVs) like iMovo, and other exhibitors, could experience and discuss one-on-one add-on solutions and CRM products as well as nurture useful networking opportunities.
